ALCOHOL DEPENDENCE SYNDROME WITH SIMPLE WITHDRAWAL.

Patient came with increased alcohol consumption since 7months daily 18units.
- Tolerance +
- Loss of control +
HOPI :- Patient was apparently asymptomatic 7months ago then he started drinking alcohol daily around 18units tolerance +, loss of control +, tremors, dryness of mouth on not taking alcohol.
- Eye opener since 7months 
- No other substance used
- No h/o head injury, seizures, pervasive low mood, suicidality.
-No h/o hearing of voices, Self taking, Self smiling, Flight of ideas, Granduosity, Denies any personal stressors.
PAST HISTORY: - Known case of HTN since 10years on treatment with Tab Amlodipine+Tab Atenolol.
- Not a k/c/o DM, TB, ASTHMA, EPILEPSY, CAD.
PERSONAL HISTORY:- Alcohol consumption since 7months daily 18units.
Appetite- Normal
Diet- Mixed
Bowel and bladder movements- Regular
Sleep- Adequate
O/E:-
Pt is c/c/c
Vitals-
Temp: 97°F
BP:130/80mmhg
PR: 84bpm
RR: 18cpm
Systemic examination:- 
CVS: S1,S2+
RS: BAE+
P/A: Soft,non tender
CNS: NAD.
INVESTIGATIONS:-
DIAGNOSIS:- ALCOHOL DEPENDENCE SYNDROME WITH SIMPLE WITHDRAWAL.

3)Tab Benxl po/od
4)Tab Levodox plus po/od
5) Tab Pan 40mg po/od
